NEW RESPONSIBLITIES WITHIN SKIDATA

Cheseaux and Gartenau, October 7, 2003 - The Kudelski Group announces today new responsibilities within its SKIDATA subsidiary, as a further step in the reorganization of its Public Access activities. The current Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SKIDATA Paul Reutlinger takes over the function of CEO with immediate effect. During the transition phase, the management team will include Paul Reutlinger (CEO), Charles Egli (COO) and Markus Lackermaier (CFO).

With this change, Kudelski aims at strengthening cooperation with the other units in the Group and securing the long-term growth of SKIDATA in the global market through enhanced proximity to its customers and sustained innovation.

The former CEO André Laux will pursue professional opportunities outside the Kudelski Group.
